At the Gorseth 2010 a new Cornish-language publisher. Gwask an Orlewen, was launched. Gwask an Orlrewen will publish in each and every one of the traditionally based forms of the language, including UC, UCR, RLC, KS and both the MC and LC forms of the SWF/T.
They started with eight publications, some of them in UC only, others in separate UC and SWF/T editions. There is also one book in English, and another (a free e-book) which is trilingual in UC Cornish, French and English!
Half of these books are aimed at youngsters and learners, while the other half is for older, more fluent Kernewegoryon.
Since then, a number of beautiful new books have been published.
If you happened to have in mind writing or translating a book in Cornish, they would be happy hear from you and to discuss your plans. They are keen to encourage creative talent within Cornwall.
